CVE is ready to one up itself again this year with our Minecraft themed Walk-a-thon!
CVE PATA is hosting our annual CVE Walk-A-Thon! We have another fun theme planned and are hoping to see all of our little minecrafters use their axes to help us meet and exceed our 2025 fundraising goal. This year our event’s theme will be Minecraft. The Walk-A-Thon will take place April 14th and continue until Friday, April 18th. Our Walk-A-Thon will be held during your child’s P.E. class or a predetermined assigned time during the school day so as to minimize the impact to you and to maximize student participation.
The purpose of this year’s WAT is to raise funds to offset the cost of supplies, programs, and events for our students and staff not covered by other TITLE I or district revenues. Examples of items funded include teacher stipends, the Halloween carnival, updating classroom emergency supplies, the Valentine’s Day scavenger hunt and the Fifth-Grade advancement activities. Please help us continue to support these and other valuable programs by reaching out to both: organizations for sponsorships and friends and family for pledges so we can offer our children the best learning experience possible.

Pledges
99Pledges is our online pledge engine again this year. We encourage everyone to reach out to friends and family to support our students by offering a flat pledge to support CVE. Not interested in the online option and prefer the old school sheet, no worries, we have a manual sheet that students can use.
Please note all students who raise $20 or more in pledges are eligible to select a prize from our Mystery Box!
Student Incentives & Prizes
All CVE enrolled students and staff will receive a free Walk-A-Thon t-shirt this year. They are in process, and we expect to receive them before the start of our WAT event. In addition, all CVE bears will have a chance to earn additional gifts as incentive for running laps based on grade level.
Furthermore, we will have 4 prize categories available. Two individual and two class categories for the following:
